VarsityFare helps learners and families see the whole first-year bill at a South African university, not only tuition. It puts tuition, registration payments, residence, meals, books, a laptop and transport in one place, in rand, and links each figure to the university's or NSFAS's own document.
The site is independent. No university, NSFAS or any other organisation is connected with it. It gives neutral information, compares published figures side by side, and does not rate or rank any university.
